 | Qty=2Size=750 ml, RP[93]"The 2021 Doyen is 65% Grenache, 18% Mourvèdre and 17% Syrah, aged in predominately one-year-old 500-liter barrels. The nose is modern and flashy but retains a graceful, composed nuance, with black-fruited aromas accented by toasted tobacco, turned earth and fresh herbs. The palate is ripe, plush and seamless, but as with the nose, refrains from going over the top. The finish is long and layered, with clear delineation and refinement without feeling excessively uniform." - Matthew Luczy, robertparker.com (Sep 19, 2024) |
