 | Qty=2Size=750 ml, ST[91]"The 2020 Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru has a richer, more opulent nose, what feels like a later-picked wine, and consequently, it doesn't quite possess the delineation of its peers. The palate is medium-bodied with ripe black cherries and bilberry fruit. There is a sapidity here, though not as much as Vougeraie's Bonnes-Mares. And yet, it is well-defined with a slightly granular finish. There is a potentially excellent wine here, however, there is some oxidation. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting." - Neal Martin, Vinous (September 2024) |
