 | Qty=3Size=750 ml, RP[92]"At the end of my tasting of the 1997s, Jobard offered me a glass of his 1996 Meursault Genevrieres. It had been opened for 16 hours, resting in a half-full bottle, simply sealed with a cork (no fancy vacuum or gas systems). Its aromatic purity and mineral-laced nose was a delight to ponder. On the palate it offered mouth-coating richness, a hugely dense vervena, honeysuckle, spice, oak, and citrus fruit flavor profile, as well as high (yet well-integrated) acidity. It is a complex, ripe, intense, deep wine that is also bright, refreshing, and sublimely focused. Anticipated maturity: 2005-2015." - Robert Parker, robertparker.com (Jun 20, 1999) |
