Unfortunately, it is of limited production. Both the 1989 and 1990 Zinfandels are impressive effort. These Zins display huge black-raspberry, peppery aromas along with gobs of smoky oak. Both are medium to full-bodied, with the 1990 showing slightly more glycerin and ripeness. Both have considerable alcoholic clout, chewy textures, and explosively rich, highly extracted finishes.
