| Qty=1Size=750 ml, RP[92+]"I only had a chance to taste one Diamond Creek Cabernet, which is still a young wine. Produced from their 8-acre parcel of vines high on Diamond Creek Mountain, the 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon Volcanic Hill exhibits a dense ruby/purple color along with abundant notes of blueberries, black raspberries, graphite, earth and burning embers. Rich, medium to full-bodied, pure and dense, it possesses a Bordeaux-like personality as well as tremendous up-side potential. With another decade of cellaring, it should merit a score in the mid-nineties, and last for 15-20+ years." - Robert Parker, Wine Advocate #195 (May 1, 2011) |
